Tides of Silence is an atmospheric contemporary seascape exploring the contrast between the power of the ocean and the quieter moments found within it.
Layers of deep blue, slate and soft seafoam tones create a sense of depth and distance, while expressive brushwork suggests shifting water, breaking waves and light moving across the surface.
There is both energy and stillness within the composition – a fleeting moment where the movement of the sea appears suspended. Rather than depicting a specific coastline, the painting evokes the emotion and atmosphere of being beside open water.
