Softening the Storm is an atmospheric contemporary seascape capturing the moment when turbulent water begins to settle and light starts to break through.

Layers of deep ocean blue, turquoise and softened seafoam move across the canvas, with expressive brushwork creating the energy and movement of rolling water. Lighter passages emerge through the darker tones, bringing a sense of changing weather and calm returning after the storm.
