Strata is an atmospheric abstract landscape inspired by geological layers, weathered rock and the traces left by time within the earth.
Soft mineral tones of stone, sand, ochre and charcoal move through layered areas of texture and light, suggesting exposed strata and shifting terrain. The horizontal composition gives the painting a quiet sense of space, while the textured surface creates depth and movement.
Contemporary yet organic, Strata explores the beauty found in erosion, changing landscapes and the natural marks created over time.
